Celebrity Vacation Rentals Terms & Conditions


Guest authorizes Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge the credit card on file for all malicious, intentional, theft, negligent, and careless acts (i.e., excessive cleaning upon departure, stains, broken furniture, evidence of smoking inside the home or on the balcony, etc.) in the excess of the Damage Waiver coverage.

Management:

All rental properties are privately owned, and Celebrity Vacation Rentals has a contractual relationship with the property owner to act as their agent. All parties of interest, guests & owners, are treated with honesty, fairness, importance, and in good faith.

Celebrity Vacation Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental or discontinue occupancy if, in our judgement, occupants have become detrimental to the property. Refunds in this matter are at the discretion of Celebrity Vacation Rentals.

Celebrity Vacation Rentals reserves the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, management, or showing if property is for sale.

Property may not be used for any unlawful purpose.

By renting one of our properties, the renter is assuming all risk of liability for any damage done to person or property, agents, employees, or visitors occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises, both latent and manifest. In the event damages occur during renters’ occupancy, renter agrees to authorize Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge the cost of such damages to the credit card on the booking file to guarantee payment. Renter also agrees to be responsible for any applicable costs and/or attorney’s fees incurred for collection of damage. Celebrity Vacation Rentals nor the owner of the property are responsible for any accidents or injury to guests or loss of money or valuables of any kind.

What We Provide:

All Bed Linens, Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Wash Rags. Kitchens are fully stocked with pots & pans, silverware, dishes, all small appliances, including a Keurig Coffee Maker.  If any of these items are missing or not working well, please call 251-600-9808 for repair or replacement. Bath towels are for use inside the home. Please do not remove any towels or bedding from the home. Some homes may provide certain beach items, or you must bring beach towels for the pools and beach. Please visit www.celebrityvacationrentalsal.com/what-to-bring/ to view the list of suggested items you should bring for your stay or refer to the “Get Ready” emails sent before your arrival.

Amenities:

Availability of on-site amenities such as swimming pools, exercise rooms, hot tubs, air conditioners, cable/satellite, internet, TV’s, appliances, elevators, etc. are not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be issued for mechanical failures and/ or malfunctioning equipment. If you incur an issue with any of these, we will work to repair the issue during your stay within our power to do so. These amenities are at zero additional charge, but simply "extras" provided in addition to the home rental.

Length Of Rental:

All Celebrity Vacation Rentals properties have a 3-night minimum stay. Some smaller properties may have a 2-night minimum during slower seasons. During the heavy, peak season, some properties may have a 7-night minimum. These 7-night minimums are from Saturday to Saturday only. During the Winter season (November, December, January, February), monthly reservations are available in participating properties.

Rental Occupancy:

The number of people allowed in each home varies by property and shall not be exceeded; please refer to the property listing and look for “Sleeps # Guests”. NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED IN ANY HOME! Events are allowed by approval of the owner and an event license must be acquired by the renter and a copy supplied to Celebrity Vacation Rentals. The primary renter (name on reservation) must be at least 25 years of age. If a large group is booking that is not all family, 60% of the guests must be minimum 25 years of age and must verify with a valid driver's license before the reservation will be confirmed. Any reservations made under false pretenses will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rents and deposits paid to date.

Forms Of Payment:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals accepts money orders, cashier’s checks, and credit cards. Checks are accepted upon individual circumstances. Please call if paying with a check to receive terms and approval.

Rent Amount

The rent amount varies for each property. Amounts vary nightly, weekly, and monthly and are set to stay competitive with like units in the area. Weekly and monthly stays will incur discounts. Rent amount, along with all fees and cleaning costs are broken into the following Payment Scheduling:

Initial Reservation Payment:

An initial reservation payment of 25% of the total is due and payable upon making the reservation. This payment includes a Non-Refundable $85 Admin Fee. Some funds may not be refundable. Please refer to your reservation details or the cancellation details below.

Reservation Payment:

The remainder of your balance or full rental payment is due 30 days before check in date. If booking within 30 days of your expected arrival date, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Taxes & Fees:

1.       A one-time, non-refundable Processing Fee of $85.

2.      Cleaning Fee (price varies by unit)

3.      Lodging Tax on Rent & Cleaning Fees:  16% for Gulf Shores, 16% Orange Beach. 8% for Foley and Fort Morgan.

4.      Credit Card Processing Fee: 4% per transaction. The current to date amount is non-refundable. Please refer to cancellation details below.

5.      Damage Waiver Policy Fee: $62.00

 

Damage Waiver Policy:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals and Property Owners require protection for their properties. Although we do not expect damage from guests, we know that sometimes accidents may happen. All reservations will be automatically charged to the $62.00 fee to purchase the Damage Waiver. This insurance policy covers up to $1500.00 for any incidents while you are staying with us. This insurance policy is sold through Celebrity Vacation Rentals from Rental Guardian at www.generalitravelinsurance.com. Guest authorizes Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge guest credit card on file for all malicious, intentional, theft, negligent, and careless acts that cause damage or loss (i.e.: excessive cleanings upon departure, stains, broken furniture, evidence of smoking/vaping inside the home, balconies, etc.) in the excess of the Damage Waiver coverage.

VRBO offers the same product through CSA and their booking platform.  If you chose theirs upon booking, please send us the policy # by text or email with your name and reservation #, and we will remove the fee for the Damage Waiver.

 

CANCELLATIONS/ RESCHEDULING:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals requires a minimum of 30 days’ notice before your expected arrival date to cancel or change any part of your booking. If you must cancel within the 30-day window of your expected arrival date and you did not purchase Travel Insurance, all payments may be held for loss of rent, regardless of circumstance (i.e., accident, illness, hurricane, etc.). If possible, you can reschedule your reservation for a different arrival date. Rescheduled dates are subject to availability and may incur higher rent rates depending on the season. We strongly urge all guests to purchase Travel Insurance. 

If proper notice is given (before the 30-day mark of your arrival & before the final payment is due), a full refund minus the Processing Fee of $85 and the 4% credit card fee for all transactions to date shall be returned. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Scenario: At the time of booking, you are required to pay 25% of the total to confirm the reservation. If the total is $1000, you would be required to pay $250. Then your final payment (the remaining 75%) would not be due until 30 days before arrival. If you must cancel, you would need to cancel before the 30-day mark before your arrival. Then, at that time, you would get a total refund, minus the $85 Non-Refundable Admin Fee and the 4% of any money processed at that time:

Paid to date:                $250.00

deduct 4%                   - $10.00

deduct admin             - $85.00

Total Refund Due To You:     $165.00

 

Hurricane/ Inclement Weather:

In the occurrence that a Hurricane or inclement weather is predicted to hit our area during your stay with a mandatory evacuation, you will receive a refund for any unused nights. If the State/City closes the area to tourists before your arrival, you will be refunded your entire funds, minus the $85 Non- Refundable Admin fee and 4% of any money processed to date. Travel Insurance is suggested as we cannot predict the weather and sunshine is not always guaranteed.

 

Travel Insurance:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals strongly suggests you purchase Travel Insurance. This insurance is available for purchase through many providers and offered through our website. The cost is 8% of your total booking and covers many issues such as illness, Hurricane Evacuations, even death. Some policies will cover your vacation if you become sick with Covid and cannot travel. This insurance policy is sold through Celebrity Vacation Rentals from Rental Guardian at www.generalitravelinsurance.com. Or you may purchase this through your booking platform such as VRBO, AirBnB, or Booking.com, etc.  It is the sole responsibility of the guest to purchase and has no affiliation with the owner or management.

 

Changes and Property Substitution:

Rates, descriptions (including bed sizes), decor, furnishings, amenities, and availability are subject to change WITHOUT NOTICE and sometimes are out of our control. No refunds will be issued for changes made by individual property owners or for unavailable amenities. Substitution of comparable properties will be made without notice or liability, should the property you reserved become unavailable for occupancy due to flood, sale, etc. We will work with you diligently to substitute a comparable property upon availability, or you may choose to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, minus the $75 non-refundable processing fee and 4% Credit Card transactions to date.

 

Check In:

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm. During the peak summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) check in time begins at 5:00 pm. These times are not guaranteed as we may incur late check outs, excessive cleanings, previous guests not following check out instructions, and inspections. Please do not attempt to enter the property before your designated check-in time. This can delay the cleaners or deter the Inspector. If that happens, quality cannot be assured. If you MUST arrive before check in time, please feel free to use the amenities until check in. Early Check Ins may be available as some nights may be vacant before your arrival. We will reach out (a week or less before expected arrival) to the guest to attempt to "sell" the extra night or approve an early check-in.

 

Check-in instructions will be sent via email. These instructions will include your personal door code.

Please walk through the home upon entry to inspect the home and notify Celebrity Vacation Rentals of any housekeeping or maintenance issues within 12 hours of arrival so we can promptly remediate said issues. Guests agree to give Celebrity Vacation Rentals a reasonable amount of time (24 hours or less) to resolve any issues that are within our control, that may be encountered on arrival or during your stay. No housekeeping refunds or adjustments will be given unless Celebrity Vacation Rentals does not or cannot correct the issue after being notified by the guest in a timely manner. If you do not report any issues, or do not allow Celebrity Vacation Rentals to fix said issue, no refunds will be awarded even after departure.

Check out:

Check out time is at 10:00 am sharp. Early departures are okay. Please notify us by text if you depart early, that way we can give housekeeping an early start. A charge of $100 will incur for each hour past 10:00 am without approval. This will be charged to the credit card on file.

Guest Responsibilities Upon Departure:

Please leave property reasonably clean and in reasonable order. Additional cleaning charges may apply if excessive cleaning measures are taken.

All kitchen pots and pans, and dishes are clean and put away.

All final dirty dishes are in the dishwasher and the dishwasher cycle started.

All trash and debris are to be removed from inside the home and disposed of in the proper receptacles.

All food is discarded, and the refrigerator is empty.

All doors and windows are locked.

Air conditioner temperature set at 75 degrees in the Summer, 65 degrees in the Winter.

Remove all sheets, pillowcases, and all towels and bundle on the floor as these will be exchanged for new, clean ones. Please leave the bed protectors and pillow protectors on and these will be cleaned inside the unit. Even if you did not use a certain beds linen or any bathroom towels, we will exchange them for all freshly washed and sanitized anyway.

Quiet Enjoyment:

Guests shall respect the surrounding accommodations and maintain a quiet environment. If you are reported as being disruptive, you may be forced to evacuate and will result in forfeiture of all rents and deposits paid.

Construction:

You may reserve a property at a time when no construction is nearby, but construction could begin prior to your arrival. We do regret any inconveniences but cannot control these situations. Refunds cannot be considered, but a relocation may be transferred to a similar property if available.

Grilling:

The Fire Department regulations prohibit the use of grills on balconies, decks, and porches. Most properties have designated grilling areas. Please refer to your property description for this info.

Pets:

NO PETS ALLOWED ON ANY OF OUR PROPERTIES. If a pet or evidence of a pet is found during your stay or upon departure, you will be charged $500 to the credit card on file. If damage occurred from your pet (i.e., scratches on baseboards, doors, furniture, walls, trim, urine spots on carpet, etc.), you will be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement of all damaged items on top of the $500 penalty fee. There are many wonderful "Doggy Daycares" or boarding facilities here in our area. Please inquire if interested.

Smoking/ Vaping:

NO SMOKING/ VAPING INSIDE ANY OF OUR HOMES. Some buildings may have a designated smoking/ vaping area, please refer to the listing details. If evidence of smoking/ vaping inside the home is found, you will be charged $500 to the credit card on file. If damage has occurred (i.e., Inside home smoke smell, stains, burn marks on furniture on flooring, etc.), you will be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement of all damaged items.

Owner’s Closets:

You may find a closet that is locked inside your rental home. This closet is the Locked Owner’s Closet and is not included in your rental. If we find the closet lock has been tampered with or broken into upon your departure, you will be charged $250 to the credit card on file plus repair/replacement for any broken or missing items.

Fireworks:

Fireworks are strictly prohibited by law at all properties.

Personal Items Left Behind:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals is not responsible for any personal items lost or left behind by guests. If items are found by our inspectors or housekeeping and you want them back, charges for shipping will be applied to the credit card on file.
