Celebrity Vacation Rentals Terms & Conditions


Management:

- All rental properties are privately owned, and Celebrity Vacation Rentals has a contractual relationship with the property owner to act as their agent. All parties of interest, guests & owners, are treated with honesty, fairness, importance, and in good faith.

- Celebrity Vacation Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental or discontinue occupancy if, in our judgement, occupants have become detrimental to the property. Refunds in this matter are at the discretion of Celebrity Vacation Rentals.

- Celebrity Vacation Rentals reserves the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, management, or showing if property is for sale.


Property may not be used for any unlawful purpose.

By renting one of our properties, the renter is assuming all risk of liability for any damage done to person or property, agents, employees, or visitors occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises, both latent and manifest. In the event damages occur during renters’ occupancy, renter agrees to authorize Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge the cost of such damages to the credit card on the booking file to guarantee payment. Renter also agrees to be responsible for any applicable costs and/or attorney’s fees incurred for collection of damage. Celebrity Vacation Rentals nor the owner of the property are not responsible for any accidents or injury to guests or loss of money or valuables of any kind. Guest authorizes Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge the credit card on file for all malicious, intentional, theft, negligent, and careless acts (i.e., excessive cleaning upon departure, stains, broken furniture, evidence of smoking inside the home or on the balcony, etc.) in the excess of the Damage Waiver coverage (detailed below).


What We Provide:

  • Towels and linens are owned and provided by our Housekeeping vendors. Please do not remove these items from the home. 
  • Provided Linens & Towels:  1 set of Bed Linens per bed, 1 Bath Towel per # of guests the home sleeps, 2 Hand Towels per bathroom, 1 Washcloth per # of guests the home sleeps.
  • Provided Amenities:  "starter set" of amenities such as: 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one bar soap per sink and bathtub/shower, small shampoo & conditioner, one trash liner per wastebasket, kitchen towel, kitchen wash cloth or sponge, 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 packet of laundry detergent (2 loads), and one coffee packet or k-cup coffee pod. Kitchens are fully stocked with pots & pans, silverware, dishes, all small appliances, including a k-cup coffee brewer, blender, toaster, microwave, etc.
  • Miscellaneous Items: Some homes may provide certain beach items at the owner's discretion. Beach/pool towels are NOT provided unless offered as an extra by the owner.


Guests are responsible for damaged or ruined towels or linens. Replacement cost is as follows:

- King Sheet Set: $60

- Queen Sheet Set: $50

- Full Sheet Set: $40

- Twin Sheet Set: $30

- Mattress Pads: $50

- Bed Bug Encasement: $40

- Pillow Protectors: $10

- Bath Towel: $20

- Bath Matt: $15

- Hand Towel/ Kitchen Towel: $10

- Washcloth: $8


Amenities:

Availability of on-site amenities such as swimming pools, exercise rooms, hot tubs, elevators, etc. are not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be issued for closure or malfunction of these amenities during your stay. These areas are controlled by the individual Homeowners' Associations in each building/complex and are not controlled or managed by Celebrity Vacation Rentals. Please let us know if any of these amenities are not performing correctly and we will alert the HOA/ Owner.

**Exception***: For our HOUSES that offer amenities such as a swimming pools, and all properties that include washing machines and dryers, or other appliances in the home, if they become unavailable during your stay, we will work with the owner for compensation upon request. If we know these items are not functioning before your arrival, we will inform you so you can prepare for your stay.


Length Of Rental:

All Celebrity Vacation Rentals properties have a 2-night minimum and maximum 6 months, unless otherwise advertised. Properties may differ as to the minimum lengths of stay during different times of the year or events. During the Winter Season (November 1st through April 1st), monthly reservations are available only in participating properties.


Rental Occupancy:

The number of people allowed in each home varies by property and shall not be exceeded. Please refer to the property listing and look for “Sleeps # Guests”. Disruptive or destructive parties are never allowed. Events are only allowed with the permission of Celebrity Vacation Rentals on behalf of the owner. The contractual renter must be at least 25 years of age and be an occupant at all times. If there is a large group, 60% of the guests must be 25 years old or older. Exceptions are made for Traveling Ball Teams, please inquire. Any reservations made under false pretenses will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rents and deposits paid to date.


Parking:

All parking restrictions, number of cars, and type of vehicles allowed are governed by the individual Homeowners' Association of each property. We are unable to give more parking passes than the number listed on your communication. No RVs, U-Hauls or similar, motorcycle trailers, boats, or boat trailers allowed in any of our properties unless otherwise specified.


Rent Amount:

The rent amount varies for each property. Rates can increase/ decrease at any time depending on season, demand, and inventory. Confirmed Bookings are final and no adjustments will be applied for any rate updates. Rent amount, along with all fees and cleaning costs, are broken into the following Payment Scheduling:


**If you booked your reservation through Airbnb, Whimstay, Booking.com, VRBO, or other channels please refer to your dashboard for pricing breakdown. Payments are processed differently on these channels and they have added fees that we do not see.***


For all other stays such as VRBO, HomeAway, Google, and Direct Bookings:


Forms Of Payment:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals accepts money orders, cashier’s checks, and credit cards. Checks are accepted with prior approval only. Credit cards are charged an additional 4% fee that is non-refundable. This fee in non-negotiable as it is charged by our credit card processor.


Initial Reservation Payment:

An initial reservation payment of 25% of the total is due and payable upon making the reservation. This payment includes a Non-Refundable $80.00 Admin Fee. Some funds may not be refundable. Please refer to your reservation details or the cancellation details below.


Reservation Payment:

The remainder of your balance or full rental payment is due 30-days before the check in date. If booking within 30 days of your arrival date, full payment will be required at that time. Failure to pay your final balance on the due date will result in cancellation of your reservation with forfeiture of your deposit. No refunds will be given if you fail to cancel before your final due date.


Taxes & Fees:

- A one-time, non-refundable Processing Fee of $80.00.

- Cleaning Fee (price varies by unit)

- Lodging Tax on Rent & Cleaning Fees: 16% for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. 12% for Foley and Fort Morgan.

- Credit Card Processing Fee: 4% per transaction. The current to date amount is non-refundable. Please refer to cancellation details below.

- Damage Waiver Policy Fee: $65

 

Damage Waiver Policy:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals and Property Owners require protection for their properties. Although we do not expect damage from guests, we know that sometimes accidents may happen. All reservations will be automatically charged a $65.00 to purchase the Damage Waiver. This $65.00 insurance policy covers up to $3,000 for any incidents that may occur during your stay plus many other benefits. This insurance policy is sold through Celebrity Vacation Rentals from Rental Guardian at www.rentalguardian.com. Guest authorizes Celebrity Vacation Rentals to charge guest credit card on file for all malicious, intentional, theft, negligent, and careless acts that cause damage or loss (i.e.: excessive cleanings upon departure, stains, broken furniture, evidence of smoking/vaping inside the home, balconies, etc.) in the excess of the Damage Waiver coverage.


Cancellations/ Rescheduling:

- Celebrity Vacation Rentals require a minimum of 30 days’ notice before your arrival date to cancel or change any part of your booking. If you must cancel within the 30 or 60-day window of your arrival date, all payments will be held for loss of rent, regardless of circumstance (i.e., accident, illness, hurricane, etc.).

- We strongly urge all guests to purchase Travel Insurance. The remainder of your balance or full rental payment is due 30 days before your check in date. If booking within 30 days of your arrival, full payment will be required at the time of booking. Your deposit will not be refunded for cancellations due to non-payment of the final balance.

- If proper notice is given, more than 30 or 60 days before the arrival date, a full refund minus the Processing Fee of $80.00 and the 4% credit card fee for all transactions to date shall be returned. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

*** If you booked your reservation through Booking.com or AirBnB, these cancelation terms are null. Please refer to your booking platform for cancellation terms. All other platforms such as: VRBO, Homeaway, and our direct site apply.


Hurricane/ Inclement Weather:

In the occurrence that a government issued, mandatory, hurricane evacuation is issued for our area during your dates of stay, you will receive a refund for any unused nights. No refunds will be issued for rain, wind, or other weather events in our area or yours, or postponing reservations. Travel Insurance is highly suggested for these purposes.


Travel Insurance:

Although we make every attempt to work with our guests beyond our cancellation policy, Celebrity Vacation Rentals has contractual obligations to property owners. We strongly suggest that you purchase Travel Insurance. This insurance is available for purchase through many providers and offered through our website at 7% of the booking total. This option covers issues such as unexpected illness, accident or injury, mandatory hurricane evacuations, emergency weather events, fire, etc. in our area or yours. Policies may be purchased through Celebrity Vacation Rentals from Rental Guardian by clicking "Accept" at booking, asking us to add, or at https://celebrityvaca.rentalguardian.com/. Or you may purchase this through your booking platform such as VRBO, AirBnB, Booking.com, etc. at their costs. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to purchase and has no affiliation with the owner or management.


Changes and Property Substitution:

Rates, descriptions (including bed sizes), decor, furnishings, amenities, and availability are subject to change WITHOUT NOTICE and sometimes are out of our control. No refunds will be issued for changes made by individual property owners for unavailable amenities. Substitution of comparable properties can be made without notice or liability, should the property you reserved become unavailable for occupancy as we will work with you diligently to substitute a comparable property upon availability, or you may choose to cancel entirely.


Check In:

- Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm. These times are not guaranteed as we may need extra time to complete cleaning and inspections. Under no circumstance should you enter the property earlier than 4:00 pm without prior approval from Celebrity Vacation Rentals.

- Check-in instructions will be sent via email within 10-days of arrival. These instructions will include your personal door code, lock instructions, wi-fi information, gate codes, and other additional property information you will need when you arrive at the property. Please do NOT wait until you are at the property to inform us that you did not receive, or cannot find, this information.

- Please notify Celebrity Vacation Rentals of any housekeeping issues immediately after arrival. Please call us with any maintenance issues ASAP after discovering them. Guests agree to give Celebrity Vacation Rentals a reasonable amount of time to resolve any issues that are within our control during your stay. No housekeeping refunds or adjustments will be given unless Celebrity Vacation Rentals does not or cannot correct the issue after being notified by the guest in a timely manner. If you do not report any issues, or do not allow Celebrity Vacation Rentals to fix said issue, no refunds will be awarded even after departure.


Check out:

Check out time is at 10:00 am sharp. Early departures are okay. Please notify us by text if you depart early, that way we can give housekeeping an early start. A charge of $100 will be incurred for each hour past 10:00 am without approval. This will be charged to the credit card on file. Specific properties may have more detailed check out instructions due to pool, game rooms, golf carts, etc. Check Out Instructions are automatically sent 24 hours before departure. If you do not receive them, please request them by phone, text, or email. Below are the basic instructions.


Guest Responsibilities Upon Departure:

Please leave property in reasonably clean order. Additional cleaning charges may apply if excessive cleaning measures are necessary.

- All dishes are clean and put away.

- All trash and debris are to be removed from inside the home and disposed of in the proper receptacles.

- All food is discarded, and the refrigerator is empty. (unopened items can be left for donation to our local food banks.)

- All TV and Fan Remotes are accounted for. Missing remotes are a $50 charge per missing remote.

- All doors and windows are locked.

- The air conditioner temperature set at 75 degrees from March 1st through November 30th, and 65 degrees in the winter.

- Do not remove the bed bug encasements from the mattresses. There will be a $50 fee per encasement to put back on.

- If any towels or linens are found to be damaged or missing, the guest is responsible for cost of replacement per each item.


Quiet Enjoyment:

Guests shall respect the surrounding accommodations and maintain a quiet environment. If you are reported as being disruptive, you may be forced to evacuate with forfeiture of all money paid.


Construction:

You may reserve a property at a time when no construction is nearby, but construction could begin prior to your arrival. We do regret any inconveniences but cannot control these situations. Refunds cannot be considered, but a relocation may be transferred to a similar property if available, but may require an upgrade fee, or refund if there is a pricing difference.


Grilling:

The Fire Department regulations prohibit the use of grills on balconies, decks, and porches. Most properties have designated grilling areas. Please refer to your property description for this info.


Pets:

Dogs are allowed on certain properties (please refer to the property details) but must be approved before booking. Approved homes will incur a non-refundable pet fee. If evidence of a pet was found during your stay or upon departure that was not approved, you will be charged $500 to the credit card on file.

Please know that there are many wonderful "Doggy Daycares" or boarding facilities here in our area.


Service Animals

True service animals are allowed in compliance with The Americans with Disabilities Act. Service animals do not include cats or exotic animals such as reptiles, birds, pigs, marsupials, etc.

While we cannot charge a pet fee, you are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning that occurs from your service animal. You will be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement of any damaged items. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT, AND ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY PROPERTY THAT IS NOT PET-FRIENDLY.


Smoking/ Vaping:

NO SMOKING/ VAPING INSIDE ANY OF OUR HOMES. Some buildings may have a designated smoking/ vaping area, please refer to the listing details. If evidence of smoking/ vaping inside the home is found, you will be charged $500 to the credit card on file. If damage has occurred (i.e., Inside home smoke smell, stains, burn marks on furniture on flooring, etc.), you will be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement of all damaged items.


Owner’s Closets:

You may find a closet that is locked inside your rental home. This closet is the Locked Owner’s Closet and is not included in your rental. If we find the closet lock has been tampered with or broken into upon your departure, you will be charged $250 to the credit card on file plus repair/replacement for any broken or missing items.


Fireworks:

Fireworks are strictly prohibited by law at all properties.


Personal Items Left Behind:

Celebrity Vacation Rentals is not responsible for any personal items lost or left behind by guests. Please do a final walkthrough of the home before departing. Check all drawers, closets, and inside furniture. If items are found and gust requests return, there is an added $50 fee plus cost of postage to ship your items.


Mail and Packages:

Our properties are short term rentals and are not set up to receive packages or mail. Please do not ship packages or forward mail during your stay. We are not responsible for retrieval or shipment of these items from the property, its mailboxes, or the post office. If you must receive a package while you are staying, please rent a post office box.


Office Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Afterhours, weekend, and holiday service is available for emergency situations. Emergencies include lock out, water leaks, A/C or heat issues, fire, injury, or death. Please wait until the following business day for items such as: Wi-fi codes, amenity information, regular maintenance issues, and general information.
